With so many cultural and spiritual experiences waiting for me, i am most excited for the people experience, the opportunity to sit back and listen and absorb knowledge from others about culture and spirituality. Communticating with humanbeings in a part of the world where status and financial stablitiy is not as important as emotional and spirtual well-being of a human-being.

Update
Went into EF great energy and great expats working in the organization. The creativity you are allowed to have within the set curriculum is amazing. As much as people have told me wallstreet is the way to go it is only working with adults and its all on the computer and you must stick to a strict curriculum and not stray away from it. when it comes to teaching out here, i must remember my intentions within myself, my passion, and that is working with children. I was offered a full time job at EF yesterday and looked over the contract it includes housing, paying for cars to and from work and also is a year contract making 7.9 million rupiahs for the year :) I would be teaching kids ages 6-10 english i have 4 classes a day each an hour and 20 min and i work from 2-9 mon-fri. I also will have the chance to move up within the company and collaborate positively with local schools and help out local organizations. Going into wallstreet today to interview and going to go into with creativity within the set curriculum on the mind, this way i can see if wallstreet really is congruent with my teaching philosophy. Went to karaoke with some german expats last night which was pretty unreal, made me remember why i hate karaoke and it's just not the states its everywhere. But the German guys I met where amazingly off tune singing their little Hassle Hoff asses off hahaha! At the end of this month i will be going to Lumpang for some volunteer work at an orphange and at the end of sept i will be going to the thousand island to do a beach clean up. Life is crazy chaotic here and i love it! Honking non stop, smoking inside, loud Ramadan services, whole families on scooters, wet heat, i couldn't ask for anything better! life is good, and everyday i feel more and more confident about getting around this crazy city!
