Blog – update on what happened 8-18 to 8-21

Traveling around indo has been great. Went out with Dutch writer on Jaksa Street and enjoyed drinks. He was insanely brilliant! Then the next day was my dear German friend (Nicole) last day went out to dinner with a bunch of couchsurfers and her collogues, started at Melly’s then went to Equal park. David one of the couchsurfers fell asleep in Equal Park and was locked in until they re-opened it was hilarious! Then after Equal Park Went out with the dude I am volunteering with in Lumpang (Luke), who is also American and also teaches English. I am starting charity work with a small organization, which Luke is associated with. It is a small charity and including me there is only 5 people involved. Woke up the next day and drove to Bandung “the dung” with Nicole and Arief. The driver was falling asleep the whole way, and Arief had the end up driving. The following day went to the Kiosk market met up with Dina going to give me Bahasa lessonsJ, and Shika my dear South African lady friend, who went on the Cimaja surf trip with a group of us! Went to great little place for coffee with a great view of Bandung. Next morning went to a volcano and then hot springs. So beautiful, then went and broke fasting with some couchsurfers and shopped. Tomorrow I am splitting away from my sweet German lady and my sweet South African lady going to play instruments with children then I leave to go back to Jakarta on the train. Then leave Jakarta on 26^th of August to the 30 to go to volunteer work in Lumpang.
